This is a bank of questions for guided reading (whole class or carousel) to support the reading and comprehension of Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend. They have been written for use through teacher/adult led discussion for the purpose of scaffolding children’s development in comprehension. They are cross referenced to the reading content domains for both KS 1 and KS 2 and include answers/suggested responses. The questions have been differentiated 3 ways.
In addition there is a SATs style comprehension paper (including a making guide) which has been differentiated 2 ways.
Finally, the pack includes a crossword for vocabulary development which will support the ‘Find and copy’ style questions on the reading SAT paper. This has been differentiated 4 ways and again includes answers.
